India, with its resource-intensive economy, is moving toward a more sustainable and efficient use of resources by encouraging collaboration across government, industry, and society to reduce waste, conserve resources, and support environmental goals. The objective is to reduce virgin material use, conserve resources, and enhance competitiveness.
