CII International Conference 2024

Background

India, with its resource-intensive economy and rapidly growing population, holds significant potential to lead the circular economy, driving sustainable growth and fostering an equitable society. The circular economy not only focuses on resource efficiency and recycling but also helps reduce waste, conserve resources, and mitigate climate change, aligning with India’s NDC targets, UNSDGs, and LiFE goals.

Building global tech partnerships for a sustainable future requires cross-sector collaboration. By aligning technology with sustainability, we can create a resilient, equitable, and environmentally sound future.

In this context, CII will host a Symposium on "Technologies Enabling Waste to Worth Transformation" on the occasion of World Environment Day, 6th June 2025, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event will focus on "Shaping a Sustainable Future through Innovation and Collaboration" and serve as a key platform to advance India’s commitment to achieving Net Zero waste.
